Seekology’s founder Rebecca Saunders says: I have been doing my best recently to educate myself about the systematic inequalities faced by Black people in the UK. A recent report by the British Business Bank also highlighted the particular challenges faced by Black entrepreneurs, and I started to think about how I might be able to help in a small way.

Recognising my own privilege, I think it is really important to support and open doors to Black entrepreneurs, particularly in the beauty industry where, despite some progress, we still have a long way to go in terms of representation.

What’s the prize?

Seekology is launching a competition to win a month’s residence in a Seekology pop-up shop this Christmas, plus six months of 1:1 mentoring by Seekology's founder Rebecca Saunders (formerly the John Lewis beauty buyer).

Seekology has been called “the antidote to Amazon” and we pride ourselves on creating beautiful, inspirational spaces where brands can tell their own stories to customers, both on the shop floor and through customer events.
